Career & Technical Scholarship Program Scholarships open March 15th The Career & Technical Scholarship Program is funded through the Horatio Alger Endowment Fund and the generosity of Association Chairman Emeritus and Endowment Fund President Walter Scott, Jr. Scholarships are awarded to students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their lives who wish to pursue a career or technical education at an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution in the United States.
West Iron Huddle Fellowship of Christian Athletes Competitor Award and Scholarsh The Competitor Award is accompanied by a financial award as a one time gift to use for the athletes future. This application is available to all West Iron Varsity Boy and Girl Basketball Team Senior Members. The accompanying application form must be submitted to the included address before March 8th, 2018 to be considered. A questionnaire will be sent to various WIC employees and coaches that interact with the athletes on a daily basis. Social media content will also be taken into serious consideration. Multiple sources will also be taken into consideration along with that of the Meyer Family. Please send the scholarship application form to the following address before March 8th, 2018. The Competitor Award will be presented at the WIC Varsity Basketball Awards Ceremony at the end of March. Michigan Tech-Engineering Technology Scholarship The School of Technology received nearly $1 million in scholarship funds through an NSF grant to expand the pipeline of engineering technology graduates. The project focus and objective is to provide scholarships to academically-talented and financially-needed students who plan to major in Michigan Tech's School of Technology programs: electrical engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, or computer network and system administration. Students will have access to a continuum of student support services, resources, and opportunities for professional growth to enable scholarship recipients to be ready for careers in STEM. The first round of scholarship applications is now open. The deadline for the application is February 28.
