ACT Testing West Iron County HS will be offering the ACT test on Oct. 28th, 2017. The test will begin at 8am in the HS Commons. Go to http://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/the-act.html to register for the ACT. West Iron County HS code is 232-105. The deadline for registration is Sept. 22nd (No writing $42/writing $62.50). Late registration is from Sept. 23rd- Oct. 6th (Add $29.50 for late registration).
CMU Scholarships Seniors who are interested in attending Central Michigan University need to apply as soon as possible in order to be eligible for the Centralis Honors Scholarship. The registration dates for the scholarship are Oct. 21st & Nov. 4th. The minimum eligibility requirements to compete for a Centralis Honors Scholarship, and therefore a seat in the 2018 Honors Program first year class, are a 3.7 high school GPA and a 1280 SAT OR an ACT of 27. Competitors must apply to CMU, register for and attend the Centralis Honors Scholarship Competition in fall 2017 on CMU's campus, and complete the Centralis Honors Scholarship Application. At the competition, applicants will write an impromptu essay that will count as part of their overall application. To reserve your place at the competition you must apply to CMU and register online at cmich.edu/centralis or by phone at (989)-774-3076. Once you register for the competition you will receive an electronic link to the Centralis Scholarship Application which you will download and bring with you to the competition
